Well, folks, Apple has just announced that there will be a new version of the Mac OS coming this summer, which is Mac OS 10 Lion, or 10.7. One of the main new features it will be including is multitouch gestures like the iOS platform. There will be an App store, just like the app store on the iPhone and the iPad, as well as one click downloads and easy installation, just like the iPhone and the iPad. There will also be something called a the launch pad, which is like the home screen on the iPhone. And once again, this will be available this summer. So now you know why Apple has come out with the full track pad that has the touch keyboard and all that. It's all because of this new release. I'm sure the normal keyboard will still be there, but Apple is focused more on the multitouch gestures. So get ready, folks. The Lion is coming to get us!
Well, apparently that bigger track pad doesn't have a keyboard, so disregard that. lol And I should also add that Snow Leopard will also be getting the Mac app store within the next 90 days.
